- I am a high school student with DACA status and am interested in applying for undergraduate admission to UVa. What does this mean for me?
- You should apply through the standard process for admission.
- I am a student with DACA status. Will I qualify for in-state tuition at UVa?
- DACA students may qualify for in-state tuition at UVA, subject to the domicile eligibility review, in light of the published 2014 Virginia Attorney General’s opinion.
- What is UVa’s policy regarding financial aid for DACA students?
- Beginning Fall 2019, UVA will offer need-based institutional aid to degree-seeking in-state undergraduate students with DACA status.
- I’m a student with DACA status. Can I apply for financial aid?
- You may apply for need-based institutional aid if you are an in-state, undergraduate student in a degree program. Contact Student Financial Services at sfs@virginia.edu or 434-982-6000 for more information.
- I’m an out of state DACA or undocumented student. Can I apply for financial aid?
- Out of state DACA and undocumented students will not be considered for need-based financial aid.
- I’m a graduate DACA student. Can I apply for financial aid?
- Graduate DACA students will not be considered for need-based financial aid.
