There are many ways to help. Faculty, staff, and community members can show support for students by participating in events organized by groups like DREAMers on Grounds and the Minority Rights Coalition. Show students that you support their work by liking posts, spreading the word that they are #HereToStay, and being present to bear witness to the great things that they’re doing in and outside of the classroom.
If you are able to make a financial donation, please consider donating to an organization that provides scholarships to students regardless of immigration status. To support the work of immigrant rights groups, you could donate to United We Dream or Movimiento Cosecha.
